Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Edvandro Gutierrez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Felipe Alvez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gutierrez shoots for a double leg takedown but Alvez sprawls well. He's pushed Gutierrez's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Alvez rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Gutierrez moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Alvez closes the distance and lands a one-two.
Gutierrez pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.
Alvez scores to the head and body with a nice combination!
Gutierrez shoots in but no luck this time.
Gutierrez fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.

Gutierrez jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Alvez walks away with a smile on his face. Gutierrez gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

Alvez really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Gutierrez. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Gutierrez is working for a rear naked choke. Alvez is not defending it well and Gutierrez has tightened it up quickly! This could be all over! Alvez refuses to tap and goes to sleep, forcing the referee to intervene. A little trickle of blood came out of Alvez's nose as his head slumped to the floor. That is naaaasty!
