Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Sarkis Terteryan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bas Rutten (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Terteryan comes to the cage accompanied by Röyksopp - The Fear . Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 5 - 1, fighting out of Los Angeles, Bas Rutten!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A head kick misses from Terteryan.

Terteryan darts in and clinches Rutten up against the cage.

Terteryan is trying to trip Rutten. He has hold of a leg but Rutten is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. Terteryan persists though and gets the takedown into guard.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Terteryan wants to control from the top but Rutten keeps moving.

Rutten preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage.

Rutten looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Terteryan keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Rutten's head.
Terteryan not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.
Terteryan postures up in Rutten's guard and throws a big left but Rutten blocks it.
Terteryan throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Terteryan postures up in Rutten's guard and throws a big left but Rutten blocks it.

Rutten has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Terteryan can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Terteryan's corner is telling him to maintain position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Terteryan is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Terteryan seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.

Rutten is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Terteryan is aware though and is defending well.

Terteryan distracts Rutten with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm.
Terteryan engaging in some classic timewasting tactics.

Rutten controls Terteryan momentarily but Terteryan frees himself.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Terteryan stands up and waves to Rutten to follow him.

Rutten gets caught napping as Terteryan dives in and scores a takedown. Rutten manages to retain guard.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

It looks like Bas Rutten has been cut.

Terteryan lands a huge takedown. Rutten is out but the ref is slow to react and Terteryan lands 3 more undefended punches before the fight is stopped. Brutal finish. Rutten lies on the canvas for a good minute before the doctors bring him round. Good to see he's OK.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:11 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Sarkis Terteryan!

Sarkis Terteryan really struggled to get his t-shirt on before his hand was raised. Making sure that Das Labor logo gets some air time is pretty tricky when you're all sweaty.
