Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the featherweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

11 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Ryan Felizberto!
The judges for this bout are Donatello Bradman, Summer Carpenter and Winston Howard.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Felizberto swinging wildly here.
Felizberto swings for the body but Curtis moves out of range.
Felizberto lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.
The fighters circle momentarily. Felizberto darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
Curtis fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Felizberto avoids it really well and circles away.
Curtis shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.
Curtis tries to control but Felizberto wriggling away.
Felizberto is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.
Curtis is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Felizberto can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.
Felizberto is trying to escape the mount.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Curtis avoids the attempt from Felizberto to control.

Curtis wants to control the pace but Felizberto is squirming around nicely.

Curtis has control of Felizberto's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Felizberto regains control of the situation pretty easily.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Felizberto is squirming around, avoiding Curtis's attempts to control the action.

After the fight, Kelsey Curtis was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
