The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Andersson shoots in but Taparoo avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Taparoo wants to clinch.

Taparoo is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Andersson has escaped the position, nice work there.

Taparoo tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Taparoo has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

Andersson tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Taparoo just stands there and leans against the cage.

Andersson breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Taparoo closes the distance and clinches up with Andersson, looking for a takedown. Taparoo pushes Andersson against the cage but Andersson circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
No joy there for Andersson, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Andersson closes this distance looking for a takedown but Taparoo circles away.

Andersson shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Taparoo's guard.
Taparoo wants to stand and escape but Andersson is having none of it.

Taparoo has his foot on Andersson's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Andersson works his way back into a safe position though.
