PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Keita Aoki (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Qwerty Board (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Qwerty Board told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.

The judges for this bout are Marco Blurström, Roosa Järviläinen and Anni Minnemäki.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Aoki tries to sprawl but Board drives through with a takedown into half guard.
Aoki has hold of Board's hands but Board slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.
Aoki is trying to get back to full guard.
Aoki wants to control but Board is keeping busy.
Aoki on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound.
Board is pressing down on Aoki's thigh, looking to free his foot. Aoki is holding on for now.
Board takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists.

Board is having to fend off submission attempts from Aoki, who is looking to sink in the choke. Aoki doesn't have the hooks in though and Board manages to reverse position! He's now on top, in his opponent's guard.

Board got a little sloppy there for a moment and Aoki has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Board has managed to get both his arms back between Aoki's legs - danger averted.

Board is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Aoki is just riding it out for now. Board eventually gives up the hold.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Aoki is looking for a sweep. Board is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.

Qwerty Board spent the whole post fight interview bigging himself up. It didn't go down that well with the fans after a while as they thought it was a bit arrogant.
