Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Andrei Katchenko (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Vladimir Zhirinovsky (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Zhirinovsky's choice of entrance music: Zhirinovsky and Serega - Murka. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 9 - 7 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Vladimir Zhirinovsky!
The judges for this bout are Igor Prikhodko, Ivan Kurochkin and Valeri Chadov.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A head kick misses from Katchenko.
Zhirinovsky fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Zhirinovsky looks for a takedown but Katchenko sprawls well.
Katchenko rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Zhirinovsky moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
A head kick from Katchenko lands but Zhirinovsky takes it in his stride.

Zhirinovsky is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Katchenko's half guard.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.

A slapping leg kick lands for Katchenko.
Katchenko misses with a head kick.
Katchenko uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Zhirinovsky has time to react.


Zhirinovsky is rocked!
Katchenko feints a jab and as Zhirinovsky dips his head, Katchenko unleashes a brutal head kick that catches Zhirinovsky right on the jaw! Timbeeer! Zhirinovsky falls backwards in slow motion, only propped up by the cage! Katchenko smiles a psychotic smile as he stares down his unconscious opponent. That is a scary man.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:30 of round 3, we have a winner by way of KO (Head Kick). Andrei Katchenko!
A very excited looking Andrei Katchenko made sure he remembered to thank all the fans both in the arena and on the internet. He said all the coolest people spend all day on MMA websites, which got a big reaction.
