Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Craven Moorhead (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Peter Jones (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Moorhead's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, I`m Too Sexy . There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

9 - 6 - 0, fighting out of London, Peter Jones!
The judges for this bout are James Atkins, Steven Brown and Phil Schofield.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Moorhead stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Jones.
Jones moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.
Moorhead misses with a takedown attempt
and Jones counters with a series of strikes. Moorhead will be more careful next time no doubt.
Moorhead fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Jones sprawls well initially but Moorhead persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.
Moorhead wants to lay and pray for a moment but Jones keeps working.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Jones trying to hold on to Moorhead's head to control him but Moorhead postures up.
Moorhead trying to advance position but Jones counters by regaining guard.
Jones is adopting a defensive guard.
Moorhead looking to sit in guard and control but Jones gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.

Jones got a little sloppy there for a moment and Moorhead has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Jones has managed to get both his arms back between Moorhead's legs - danger averted.
Jones avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Moorhead had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Jones defends it easily.
Jones trying to control the position from guard on top but Moorhead is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Jones advances position into side control!
Moorhead can't do much from the bottom here.
Moorhead tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Jones wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.

Jones trying to control the position but Moorhead is working away.
Jones tries to score with some ground and pound. Moorhead controls his posture well this time though and the shots don't do any damage.

Jones wants to control but Moorhead is keeping him busy.
Jones creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Moorhead sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike.
Moorhead is looking to regain half guard here but Jones keeps moving and retains side control.
Jones cracks Moorhead with an elbow. That is naaassty.
Moorhead is looking for a sweep.
Jones is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Moorhead is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
Jones wants to control for a moment but Moorhead uses the opportunity to move back to half guard.
Moorhead tries to get to full guard but Jones has control of the leg.
That's four minutes gone in the round.
Moorhead is pressing down on Jones's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it.
Jones trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
Moorhead looks to be working for a triangle here. Oh, it looks like he might have it! Jones has picked Moorhead up and slammed him! Moorhead can't keep hold of the triangle and Jones manages to pass to side control!
Moorhead is looking to regain half guard here but Jones keeps moving and retains side control.
Jones trying to control the action but Moorhead is working from the bottom.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Moorhead taking a bit of punishment here - Jones scoring with strikes.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Peter Jones dominated that round.
That's time! Moorhead's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.

Moorhead doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Jones counters with an inside leg kick.
Moorhead takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.

and Jones counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Moorhead is rocked!
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Craven Moorhead. That's going to take a lot out of him.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
and Jones counters with a massive uppercut that badly hurts Moorhead! He's just covering up as Jones starts to tee off till the referee steps in and stops the fight!

Peter Jones looked relieved post fight as he said the following; 'This is the moment that I have been waiting for. It feels great to have the belt around my waist. Moorhead was a great opponent, but I feel like I have been underestimated my entire career and it felt great to prove that tonight. I am taking my career seriously now and this fight showed that'.
