Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Kyle Bradley (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Blake Howard (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Blake Howard is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

The judges for this bout are Chris Downing, Wesley Smith and Daniel Franklin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bradley fails with the takedown.
Bradley swings for the body but Howard moves out of range.
Bradley throws a shot to the body.
Bradley ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
Bradley clinches up with Howard and pushes him back against the cage.
Bradley escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Howard slips a jab from Bradley.

Bradley throws a feint and then finishes with a kick to the body.
Bradley rushes Howard and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.

Howard drops down looking for an ankle pick but Bradley pulls his leg out and moves away.
Bradley decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.

Howard is looking to improve his position.
Howard makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Howard.
Bradley tries to free his leg and advance position but Howard is retaining full guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Bradley stands up and waves to Howard to follow him.
Howard takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
Bradley closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Howard to the mat! Howard manages to get full guard.
Bradley has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.
Howard striking off his back but it's not causing Bradley any problems.

Bradley avoids a guillotine attempt easily.

Howard has his foot on Bradley's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Bradley works his way back into a safe position though.
Bradley knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Howard on the ground.

Bradley thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.

Bradley wants to get up but he can't break Howard's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Bradley is wriggling around trying to escape.
Howard with some aggressive grappling here. He's looking for submissions here, rather than waiting for the opportunity to counter.

Blake Howard dominated that round.

Bradley tries to close the distance and clinch but Howard swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Bradley throws a lazy right hand but Howard sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Bradley shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Howard's guard.

Howard lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Bradley!
