Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
7 - 22 - 0, fighting out of New York, Jimmy Conway!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
7 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Albert Kelly!
The judges for this bout are Eddie Farnsworth, Bruno Lombardi and Jorge Garcia.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kelly feints and then cracks Conway's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Conway down.
Kelly pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Conway back to the cage. Kelly follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver.
It looks like Jimmy Conway has been cut.
Kelly connects with a body shot.
Conway throws a head kick that Kelly semi-blocks.
Kelly comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Kelly swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Conway darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
Kelly manages to get to full guard.
A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Kelly holds on and takes a little breather.
Conway trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Kelly is controlling Conway's posture.
The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Albert Kelly.
Kelly cracks the inside of Conway's front leg.
Kelly lands with a straight right. Conway didn't see that one coming.
An inside leg kick lands from Kelly.
Conway takes a body punch but keeps moving.
Conway is breathing heavily.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Conway on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Kelly. Kelly obviously looking to wear him down.
Kelly connects with a crisp jab.
Conway is rocked!
Kelly cracks Conway with a brutal left hook that knocks him out cold! This one is over in a flash! Game over!
