Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Akira Ishikawa (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Domingo Chavez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Ishikawa might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to mindshift genki sudo. Domingo Chavez has the eye of the tiger tonight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Ishikawa instigates a clinch.
Chavez is trying to drag Ishikawa to the mat but Ishikawa just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.
Ishikawa scores with a knee to the head.
Ishikawa is struggling to control the position.

Ishikawa's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

Chavez takes a knee right on the jaw!

It looks like Domingo Chavez has been cut.

Domingo Chavez seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Chavez has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Ishikawa is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.

and as Chavez loses concentration momentarily, Ishikawa counters with a picture perfect head kick! Chavez goes down, out cold! The referee rushed in to check on his condition - I'm sure he'll be ok but that was a massive knockout!
