The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
No luck with that takedown attempt from Lindemann.
Lindemann tries to clinch there but Ninja Turtle circles away.

Lindemann tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Ninja Turtle swivels and escapes.
Ninja Turtle slaps away a takedown attempt from Lindemann, before circling back to the center of the mat.

Ninja Turtle blocks a head kick by Lindemann.
Lindemann tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him.
Ninja Turtle throws a head kick that half lands.
Ninja Turtle connects with a leg kick. Lindemann looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it.
Lindemann shoots in for a double leg but Ninja Turtle sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Ninja Turtle tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Don Ninja Turtle seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Ninja Turtle stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Ninja Turtle wants it to stay on the feet.
Lindemann takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Ninja Turtle connects with a solid leg kick.
Lindemann is breathing heavily.
Lindemann throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Ninja Turtle's waist but Ninja Turtle gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Lindemann off to one side.

Ninja Turtle looks to land a combination. Lindemann sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.

Ninja Turtle lands a big head kick that sends Lindemann tumbling to the mat! Ninja Turtle takes a step backwards and waves Lindemann back to his feet - he wants the finish!

It looks like Wolfgang Lindemann has been cut.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Ninja Turtle lands a brutal head kick. Lindemann looks out on his feet and Ninja Turtle throws more strikes until the ref is forced to stop the fight!
