Parts comes to the cage accompanied by call to prayer. McJuckett is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by "Sinister Kid" The Black Keys. Peter Parts has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Dantavious McJuckett!
The judges for this bout are Roger Salmon, Paul Gruel and Josh West.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Parts misses with a hook
and McJuckett counters with a big head kick but Parts shrugs it off.
McJuckett walks into a left hand.

McJuckett instigates a clinch.
The pace really dropping off here, momentarily.
The crowd are getting pretty annoyed with Parts for his constant stalling in the clinch and are voicing their displeasure.
McJuckett misses with a knee to the head.
Parts managing to block the knees to the body from McJuckett.

Parts is trying to break the clinch but McJuckett has him pressed against the cage.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

McJuckett's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button!
Nice body punch from McJuckett - that landed with a thud.
McJuckett tries to land a knee to the head but Parts blocks with his arms.
Parts gets through McJuckett's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head.
Parts wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee.
Parts tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked.
McJuckett tries to work over Parts's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target.
McJuckett misses with a knee to the head.
Both guys are working to get underhooks.
Parts struggles to land a body shot inside as McJuckett controls his hands.
With the two fighters working up against the cage, McJuckett just misses with a elbow thrown towards Parts's brow.

Parts pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
McJuckett takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
Parts takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
McJuckett throws a chopping leg kick but Parts manages to avoid taking any serious damage.
McJuckett throws a predictable looking body shot
and Parts counters with a right hand to the body.
Parts throws a hook but McJuckett avoids it easily.
Parts throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Parts feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to McJuckett's calf.
Parts throws a predictable looking body shot
and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick.
A head kick misses from McJuckett.
McJuckett fakes a jab and throws a low kick but Parts checks it well.
Parts lands a glancing blow to the side of McJuckett's head.
McJuckett goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.
McJuckett throws a half hearted mid kick.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
McJuckett shoots in and drives through. Parts sprawls well.
Parts misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Both fighters circling a little - McJuckett finishes the exchange with a kick to the body.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Parts lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
McJuckett misses with a wild body shot.
McJuckett lands a head kick. Parts smiles back at him and beckons him forward.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from McJuckett is defended easily by Parts.
McJuckett connects with an inside leg kick.
McJuckett blocks a jab.
Peter Parts is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
McJuckett throws a wild body kick that Parts sees coming a mile off.
McJuckett shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Parts as he avoids it easily.
Peter Parts has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Dantavious McJuckett.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Parts scores with a slapping inside leg kick.
Parts lands a body shot.
Parts lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.
Dantavious McJuckett seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Parts cracks McJuckett with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Peter Parts will probably get the nod.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!

McJuckett keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Parts's efforts to push away.
McJuckett throws a knee to the head but misses.

McJuckett tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and Parts avoids it.
McJuckett lands an elbow inside.

Parts breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.

Parts looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.
Parts lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!


McJuckett is rocked!
Parts throws a monster overhand right that drops McJuckett! Parts follows up with more strikes from mount and the fight is all over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:18 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Peter Parts!
Peter Parts decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
