Couture's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Mama said knock you out. White comes into a darkened arena with his song building. yes kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Brandon Couture has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Couture slips under a jab.
Couture throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
The fight stays on the outside here - White looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Couture uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before White has time to react.
Couture ducks under a wild hook from White.
Couture walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.

and White decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Couture's guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

White creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Couture sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike.
White wants to control for a moment but Couture uses the opportunity to move back to half guard.
Couture gets full guard.
White is looking to work some ground and pound but Couture has wrist control.
White throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Couture works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
Couture has control of White's left arm, preventing White from doing any damage.
White sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Couture's guard.
Couture is looking to control White's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Couture avoid being mounted?

Couture is looking to improve his position.
White thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Couture's head.

White seems to be working for a kimura but Couture defends the submission attempt.
Couture tries to roll over but White keeps him under control.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Couture is pressing down on White's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it.
White postures up.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
White stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Couture swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Couture manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. White manages to get himself to full guard.
Couture looking to sit in guard and control but White gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That's time! Couture's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.

White tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Couture paws at him with a jab and circles away.
White looks to land a right hand but Couture moved out of range.
Couture blocks the body kick.
White bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Couture slaps away a takedown attempt from White, before circling back to the center of the mat.

Couture steps to the side to avoid the strikes from White.

White instigates a clinch.
A head punch on the inside from White fails to land.

Couture breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
White lands a really nice looking cross but Couture seems unphased.
Brandon Couture is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

White takes a nasty kick to the mid section... That should keep him thinking. Does he try and block and risk a head kick landing?
Couture works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.
White throws a head kick that misses.
White throws a hook but Couture avoids it easily.
Couture fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt White.
White throws a chopping leg kick but Couture manages to avoid taking any serious damage.
White swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
White moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot.

White takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
White shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Couture defends it nicely.
Couture keeps White at a distance using the push kick.

Couture avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
That kick from White tenderised Couture's leg. Couture is trying to keep his angry face on.

Couture throws a body punch but White moves out of range.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

and White counters by moving into the clinch.

White pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
White is looking to clinch but Couture is avoiding it.
Couture fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches White on the side of the head.
White is still on wobbly legs! Can Couture finish him?
Couture keeps the fight on the outside.
White circles to his right, straight into a beautiful hook by Couture. White falls face first into the canvas - great knockout victory for Couture!
