Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Zachery Rey (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Randy Savage (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Man, I cannot wait for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 15 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Zachery Rey!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 18 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Randy Savage!
The judges for this bout are Skip Squint, Summer Carpenter and Bruno Hogan.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Savage on the wrong end of a nice hook.
Rey thumps Savage with a low kick.
Savage avoids the body shot from Rey.
Savage missing with a left hand there. Rey was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Rey throws a low kick, looking for Savage's leg but Savage calmly moves out of range.
Rey misses with a low kick.
That kick from Savage tenderised Rey's leg. Rey is trying to keep his angry face on.
Savage shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Rey pinned against the cage. Rey gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

Rey gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here.
Rey lands a nice elbow from the clinch.
A short right hand to the side of the head by Savage.

Rey throws a punch but it's blocked by Savage.

Savage breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

and Rey counters with a left and a right that stings Savage.

Savage connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
Rey is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.

Savage tries to score a power double leg takedown but Rey sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Savage somewhat.

Savage is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Rey's half guard.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.

Savage working over Rey with some ground and pound. Rey looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Savage perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there.

Savage thows a huge punch but Rey dodges it nicely.

Sloppy strikes from Savage. Those never looked like landing.
Rey misses with a two punch combination.
Savage tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Rey is able to avoid easily.

Rey gets one leg under and gets the fight to half guard.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Randy Savage dominated that round.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Rey tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Savage paws at him with a jab and circles away.

The fight stays on the outside here - Rey looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

Savage throws a right hand that Rey ducks under and follows up with a left that Rey also avoids with ease.

Rey catches Savage with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!

Savage uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Rey.
Savage is looking to slow Rey down with leg kicks.
Rey swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Savage shoots for a double leg takedown but Rey sprawls well. He's pushed Savage's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

Rey fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Savage on the side of the head.

The crowd cheers as Rey lands an impressive looking overhand right. Savage doesn't seem phased though.
Rey ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Savage moves away.

Rey fails to land with a series of punches.
Savage fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Rey manages to avoid it.
A big left from Savage misses.
Rey looks to throw the jab but Savage is out of range.
Savage will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Savage misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Savage lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Rey has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Rey and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.
Savage shoots in but Rey avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Savage lands a jab to Rey's midsection.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Rey just misses with a punch to the body.
Savage swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Rey.
Rey dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Savage. That did some damage!
Rey avoids a low kick by using good footwork.
Rey steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Savage.
Rey just misses with a punch to the body.
Savage lands with a head kick! That's gotta hurt.
Rey is looking to slow Savage down with leg kicks.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Savage ducks under a wild hook from Rey.
Savage gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Rey.
A decent looking cross lands there for Savage.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close second round but I would say that Zachery Rey will probably get the nod.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. This is the final round!

Savage misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Savage does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.
Savage throws a low kick but Rey avoids it.
Savage lands a head shot.
Savage lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
Decent striking displayed by Rey there.
Savage doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Rey throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.

Rey lands a right hook to the body.
Savage is still on wobbly legs! Can Rey finish him?
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Rey finds Savage's off switch, with a big overhand right that connects perfectly to the side of the head! Savage flops back against the cage, eyes gazing into the distance. Rey lands an unnecessary shot before the referee has time to step in and end the fight. Brutal stuff but I'm sure Savage will be OK.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:05 of round 3, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Zachery Rey!
