Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

4 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Cray Daddy Tay!
The judges for this bout are Hugh Johnson, Bruno Hogan and Donatello Bradman.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tay moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.
Lafleur tries to clinch up.
Lafleur misses with a head kick.
Tay avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Tay misses with a telegraphed body shot
and Lafleur counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Tay throws a jab but it's blocked by Lafleur.
Tay cracks Lafleur with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.
Lafleur scores with a body shot.
Tay connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head.
Lafleur tries a head kick but it misses.
Lafleur on the wrong end of a nice jab.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Lafleur scores with a slapping inside leg kick.
Tay throws a one two combo.
Tay lands a head shot.
Lafleur takes one to the chin there.
Tay throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Lafleur tries to clinch there but Tay circles away.

Tay scores with a jab to the jaw.
Tay misses the shot to the body.
A big right from Tay misses.
Cray Daddy Tay seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Lafleur throws a sloppy head kick and Tay moves out of range easily.
Tay sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs.
Sloppy strikes from Tay. Those never looked like landing.
A right-left combo lands from Tay.
Tay misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Lafleur.
Tay fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Tay lands a jab to Lafleur's midsection.
Lafleur throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Lafleur keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Tay swings widly with a right hand
and Lafleur counters with a crisp one two that drops Tay! Lafleur thinks about following him to the mat for a moment but instead steps back and waves Tay to his feet! Tay is in big trouble!
Tay is rocked!
Tay missing with a left hand there. Lafleur was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Tay is still on wobbly legs! Can Lafleur finish him?
A good leg kick by Lafleur.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Tay gets caught by a brutal right hook which buckles his knees! Tay tries to backpedal with his spaghettilegs but Lafleur is headhunting and goes for the kill. A jab and a right hook connect and Tay buckles badly as his eyes roll back. The referee steps in and saves Tay!! Tay is complaining but he was clearly out on his feet. Lafleur throws his mouthpiece into the crowd. Mmmm spit-tastic.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:06 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Reggie Lafleur!
