The crowd seem to be enjoying Dempsey's choice of entrance music: On the Eve of War - Jedi Mind Tricks. John Rambo has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rambo shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Dempsey counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Rambo shoots in and drives through. Dempsey sprawls well.
Dempsey is looking to clinch but Rambo is avoiding it.
Dempsey tries to close the distance and clinch but Rambo swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Jack Dempsey seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Dempsey has Rambo up against the cage in a clinch.
Rambo is trying to slow down the pace of the fight but Dempsey is keeping busy.
Dempsey gets through Rambo's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head.
Dempsey presses Rambo against the cage and delivers a mid-strength body shot.
Rambo blocks an elbow strike from Dempsey.

Dempsey throws an elbow but it misses.
Rambo blocks a couple of punches on the inside.

Dempsey looks to throw an elbow but misses.
Rambo tries to break the clinch but Dempsey is controlling the position.
Dempsey tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Rambo's elbow.
Dempsey pushes Rambo back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head.
A short uppercut from Dempsey.
Dempsey throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Rambos head.
A nice left hand lands by Dempsey.

Rambo has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Dempsey uses from the top position.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.
Dempsey wants to stand but Rambo is controlling his posture from full guard.
Dempsey wants to pass the guard but Rambo is keeping the position.

Dempsey would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.
Dempsey wants to control from the top but Rambo keeps moving.

Rambo pushes a forearm under Dempsey's chin to create some space. He's escaped his hips and pivoted quickly for an armbar! Can he extend the arm? Yes, Dempsey is tapping out! Damn, that was fast!
