Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Kevin Hargrave (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bobby Lashley (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Kevin Hargrave!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Trevor Gratis, Elvis Blanc and Ian Loll.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Lashley closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.

Hargrave looking to work for a kimura from the bottom.

Lashley stands, ready to strike. The ref makes him back up and allows Hargrave to get to his feet.
Lashley misses with a takedown attempt - Hargrave sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Hargrave tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.

Lashley decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Lashley tries to stand but his hand is stuck under Hargrave.
Lashley is taking a breather. Hargrave says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.
Hargrave regains full guard. Nicely done.

Hargrave working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Lashley doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Lashley manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
Lashley tries to stand but Hargrave is controlling from the bottom.

Hargrave looking for a guillotine here but Lashley defends easily.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Hargrave had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Lashley is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Hargrave Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Lashley's back instead.

Hargrave is looking for the choke from the back position but Lashley is controlling his hands well.
Hargrave is breathing heavily.
Lashley just trying to survive but Hargrave is wriggling into a better position, looking to finish.
Lashley breaks Hargrave's hooks off and manages to turn into his guard.

Hargrave looking for a guillotine here but Lashley defends easily.
Lashley stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Hargrave swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Lashley tries to stand but Hargrave is controlling from the bottom.
Lashley must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

Lashley postures up and lands a big shot to Hargrave's brow.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Hargrave looks to be working for a triangle here. Oh, it looks like he might have it! Lashley has picked Hargrave up and slammed him! Hargrave can't keep hold of the triangle and Lashley manages to pass to side control!
Hargrave stops Lashley from passing to mount.
Hargrave tries to buck Lashley off but Lashley is having none of it.
Hargrave is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Lashley off and has taken his back!
Lashley trying to control but he's just got himself in more trouble.
Hargrave is trying to stick to Lashley's back but Lashley is turning into Hargrave. He's managed to reverse the position - now he's in Hargrave's guard. Polite applause from the crowd in appreciation of some nice Jiu Jitsu by Lashley.
Lashley cracks Hargrave with a solid left hand.
Lashley with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal.
Lashley trying to control the position from guard on top but Hargrave is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Lashley postures up and lands some nice ground and pound.
Lashley is working Hargrave over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.
Lashley is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.

Lashley wants to stand but Hargrave is controlling his posture from full guard.
Lashley postures up and lands a big shot to Hargrave's brow.

Lashley decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.
Hargrave swings for the body but Lashley moves out of range.

Lashley feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
Hargrave can't keep his opponent in guard - Lashley advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.

Lashley is nestled in close to Hargrave, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.
Hargrave makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Hargrave.
Hargrave looking to sweep here. No luck so far.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Lashley wants to pass the guard but Hargrave is keeping the position.
Hargrave controls Lashley momentarily but Lashley frees himself.

Hargrave has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Lashley can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Hargrave escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Lashley gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Hargrave is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Hargrave has his foot on Lashley's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Lashley works his way back into a safe position though.

Hargrave tries to land a sweep but no joy.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Bobby Lashley dominated that round.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

Hargrave is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Lashley closes this distance looking for a takedown but Hargrave circles away.
A decent looking cross lands there for Lashley.
Lashley with a jab.
Kevin Hargrave is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Lashley throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Hargrave.
Hargrave throws a left and a right that both miss

and Lashley counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Lashley.
Hargrave is trying to slow down the pace in the clinch, to catch his breath.

Hargrave ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Hargrave no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.

Hargrave is looking for a triangle but Lashley pushes his legs off easily.
Lashley wants to get up but he can't break Hargrave's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.
Hargrave controls Lashley momentarily but Lashley frees himself.

Lashley is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but Hargrave has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Lashley is looking to defend but Hargrave has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Lashley! Hargrave pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Lashley taps out and this one is all over!
