The judges for this bout are Ian Loll, Robert Douchet and Yves DeLean.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Holmogorov instigates a clinch.
Ba doesn't land with the attempted body shot.
Holmogorov is working on a leg, looking for a takedown but Ba is defending well.
Ba misses with a hook to the ribs.
Ba is trying to slow down the pace of the fight but Holmogorov is keeping busy.
Holmogorov blocks a punch to the side of the head.

Ba wants to break free but Holmogorov has control.
Ba is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage.
Ba lands a hook to the body. It's hard to tell if that hurt Holmogorov or not.
Ba is fighting off a takedown attempt but Holmogorov is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Ba to the mat. Ba regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.

Ba is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
Holmogorov is pushing down on Ba's leg trying to pass to half guard. Ba is fighting to maintain full guard but Holmogorov has managed to sneak the leg through.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Ba thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Holmogorov's head.
Holmogorov might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Ba looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
Holmogorov is defending against the submission attempts here by Ba.

Ba is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position.
Holmogorov knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Ba on the ground.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Oooooh!!! Ba has knocked Holmogorov down with a huge combo! Ba steps away and waves a wobbly Holmogorov back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!
Holmogorov is rocked!
It looks like Svyatoslav Holmogorov has been cut.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Ba misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Holmogorov throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Ba's waist but Ba gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Holmogorov off to one side.
Holmogorov fails with an attempt to clinch.
Holmogorov is starting to get sloppy and is letting his hands down. Ba just took advantage and landed a stinging jab. Oh! Now a right hook, right on the button! Holmogorov has gone limp and this one is over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:31 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Melvin Ba!
