Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Jimmy Dean (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Darryl Vermeulen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Dean comes into the arena with AC/DC - Hells Bells blaring out of the sound system. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Alec Ball, William Peck and Robert Douchet.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dean slips a jab and a cross from Vermeulen.
Vermeulen shoots in but no luck this time.
Dean feints and then cracks Vermeulen's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Vermeulen down.
Dean defending well as Vermeulen loads up on a big left hand.
Vermeulen looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Vermeulen fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Dean avoids it really well and circles away.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
Dean ducks under a wild hook from Vermeulen.
Dean scores with the left hand. Vermeulen knows he should have avoided that one.
Dean drops Vermeulen with a beautiful combination! Vermeulen stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Dean is looking for the KO!
Vermeulen is rocked!
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Vermeulen is aggressively charging in as Dean backs up avoiding any damage. Dean tosses out a jab and Vermeulen runs right into it face first! Vermeulen is out cold! Dean dropped down on all fours and is barking in Vermeulen's face like a pit bull in celebration until the ref was finally able to pull him away!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:34 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Jimmy Dean!
