Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between shinooke hunter (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Little Can WhupAss (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The key to victory for shinooke hunter has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, shinooke hunter!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Little Can WhupAss!
The judges for this bout are Robert Douchet, William Peck and Elvis Blanc.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
WhupAss blocks a jab.

WhupAss shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.
hunter is trying to escape the mount but WhupAss keeps good control and instead manages to take hunter's back.
hunter holding both WhupAss 's hands and preventing any damage.

WhupAss is working really hard to secure the rear naked choke. hunter defends successfully for a significant amount of time. Both fighters are looking very determined.
WhupAss controls the position.
WhupAss lands a shot to the body.
WhupAss slows the pace down here. Having a little breather whilst he's in a dominant position, looking to rest and regain some energy, ready to go for the finish.
hunter grimaces as he takes a shot to the body.
WhupAss just keeping the dominant position. He can't wait too long though, otherwise the referee will stand them back up.
hunter is defending well here and trying to improve his position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

What can hunter do to escape this position? He's going to have to figure it out pretty quick if he wants to stay in the fight!

WhupAss really has the hooks in deep now - there seems like no escape for hunter.

WhupAss looking for the RNC.
hunter knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for WhupAss on the ground.

WhupAss scores with a nice shot to the head of his opponent. hunter is looking for a way out.
WhupAss should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.
WhupAss is hanging on to hunter's back as he tries to escape.
hunter prevents WhupAss from getting a body triangle.
hunter wants to get back to his feet.
WhupAss has the hooks sunk in and you can see the will to fight slowly draining out of hunter's body.
hunter trying to get back to his feet but WhupAss is in full control for now.
WhupAss really has the hooks in deep now - there seems like no escape for hunter.

Despite being in the dominant position, Little Can WhupAss just isn't active enough and the referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
No joy there for hunter, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
hunter throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.

WhupAss changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. hunter looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
hunter is trying to escape and get back to his feet.
hunter is looking to reverse the position.
hunter is looking to slip a leg under and get half guard but WhupAss is one step ahead and moves to full mount!
hunter tries to lock up and control but WhupAss gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
hunter can't escape the position.
hunter tries to hold on but WhupAss postures up.
WhupAss prevents hunter from getting the reversal.

WhupAss landing strikes from the mount and hunter is in trouble!
hunter tries to get back to half guard but can't.
You get the feeling that hunter really doesn't like being in this position too much.
hunter trying desperately to get back to his feet here but he's not having any joy at all. He's going to tire himself out if he's not careful.

hunter bucks up and throws WhupAss to the side - he's got back to his feet. Great escape!
Nice jab there from hunter.
hunter throws a nice looking combination but WhupAss bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.

WhupAss forces hunter back against the cage and clinches.

hunter breaks the clinch.
hunter connects with a crisp jab.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
WhupAss blocks a head kick by hunter.
hunter lands a lovely overhand right.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Little Can WhupAss dominated that round.

and WhupAss counters with a takedown into side control.
Little Can WhupAss has got the better of the ground game so far.
hunter is looking to regain half guard here but WhupAss keeps moving and retains side control.

WhupAss wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by hunter, who protects the arm well.
hunter is trying to get back to half guard.
WhupAss prevents hunter from escaping the position.

WhupAss tries for a kimura but hunter is defending well.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
hunter looks to move to half guard but instead WhupAss has passed into mount! Damn!
hunter is looking to get back to his feet - it's going to be hard from this position.

WhupAss is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. hunter can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.
WhupAss fails to move to back control.
WhupAss takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
hunter takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position.
WhupAss content just to control the position here.
WhupAss's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.

hunter is wriggling around here but as he tries to escape, WhupAss has taken his back.
WhupAss scores with a nice shot to the head of his opponent. hunter is looking for a way out.
WhupAss connects with a big shot to the side of hunter's head.
hunter is very frustrated here, being controlled quite effectively by WhupAss.

WhupAss has the rear naked choke here! This is very bad for hunter! Can he survive? No! He's out! WhupAss gets to his feet and celebrates with his cornermen. He looks absolutely delighted. In the post fight interviews he takes time to thank his parents and everyone who has believed in him from the start. How sweet.
