Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Sean ORiordan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Maximus Meridius (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Meridius has chosen Sexion d'Assaut - Desole as his entrance music. Both these guys are coming into the fight with injuries so let's see if that has a bearing on the fight. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The judges for this bout are Elvis Blanc, Trevor Gratis and Gregory Folan.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
ORiordan closes the distance and clinches up with Meridius, looking for a takedown. ORiordan pushes Meridius against the cage but Meridius circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Meridius wants to land a leg kick but ORiordan is out of range.
ORiordan thows a body shot but no joy.
ORiordan lands a really nice looking cross but Meridius seems unphased.
ORiordan misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.

ORiordan shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Meridius dips down and scores with a jab to the body.

Meridius stalks ORiordan and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into ORiordan's face. ORiordan staggers backwards, shaken.
ORiordan is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.

Meridius fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt ORiordan.

Meridius lands a big head kick that sends ORiordan tumbling to the mat! Meridius takes a step backwards and waves ORiordan back to his feet - he wants the finish!

BAM! Meridius delivers a spinning backfist that drops ORiordan like a ragdoll! This is all oooooveeeer! He was out before he hit the ground!
