Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Nori Fukyomoma (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and John Johnson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Fukyomoma comes to the cage accompanied by Kung Fu Fighting, Carl Douglas. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fukyomoma tries to bum rush Johnson with a series of wild strikes but Johnson uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Johnson loads up on a big right hand but Fukyomoma slips the punch.
Johnson thows a leg kick but Fukyomoma checks it
and Fukyomoma counters with a left and a right that stings Johnson.
Johnson looks for a takedown but Fukyomoma sprawls well.
Johnson shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Fukyomoma as he avoids it easily.
Sloppy strikes from Johnson. Those never looked like landing.
Johnson misses with a body shot

and Fukyomoma counters with a single leg into guard. Johnson didn't expect that.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Johnson is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage.

Fukyomoma might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

Johnson pulls Fukyomoma in close to prevent any damage.
Fukyomoma passes Johnson's left leg - he's now in half guard.
Johnson misses with some strikes from the bottom.
Johnson won't allow Fukyomoma to pass to mount.
Johnson tries to roll over but Fukyomoma keeps him under control.

Johnson tries to regain full guard. Instead though, Fukyomoma has advanced to mount. Uh oh.
Johnson wants to get back to his feet.

Fukyomoma jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but Johnson manages to avoid the submission attempt.

Fukyomoma passes to full mount! That's big trouble for Johnson!

Fukyomoma is working on an americana here. Ooh, that looks pretty nasty! Nope, Johnson has managed to escape the submission attempt.
Fukyomoma is breathing heavily.
Johnson is trying desperately to improve position.
Johnson is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.
Fukyomoma lands a couple of nice shots there from mount.
Fukyomoma avoids the attempt from Johnson to control.

Johnson really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Fukyomoma. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
