Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
5 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Paul Bearinstein!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, New Knox!
The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, Don Winkell and Timothy Bukovac.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Knox keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Bearinstein.
Knox avoids the body shot from Bearinstein.
Knox throws a body kick but he wasn't in range.
Bearinstein misses with a straight left.
Knox tries to work over Bearinstein's front leg with a kick but Bearinstein checks it.
Bearinstein connects with a good right hand that stumbles Knox. Knox circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
It looks like New Knox has been cut.
Bearinstein takes a swing at Knox's ribcage but misses.
Knox closes the distance and clinches up with Bearinstein, looking for a takedown. Knox pushes Bearinstein against the cage but Bearinstein circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Bearinstein misses with a straight right.
Bearinstein ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
Bearinstein lands a jab and follows it up with a massive straight that knocks Knox out cold! Knox is crumpled in the corner, his head only propped up by the cage! That's one for the organiziational promos right there! Wow, what a finish!
