Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Titan Law (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Gene Lopez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Law kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Nirvana-Come as You Are. Lopez has chosen Desabafo as his entrance music. Gene Lopez told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A combination from Law does no damage.
Horrible takedown by Lopez or perhaps it was just good defense by Law which made him look bad.
Lopez misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Law throws a right and a left that Lopez avoids nicely.
Lopez slips a straight right by Law.
Lopez will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Law keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.

Law decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.

Law is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Lopez doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Law.
Lopez really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Law. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Law is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.

Law works his way into side control.

Law tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Law tries to move into full mount but can't pass Lopez's legs.

That's two minutes gone in the round.

Law wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Lopez, who protects the arm well.
Law passes to full mount! That's big trouble for Lopez!

Law is working to isolate an arm here. It's a telegraphed submission attempt but he's gone for it anyway - and he's got it! Law extends the arm and Lopez is forced to tap!
