Barkas comes to the cage accompanied by Civil war. Jarvinen has chosen Frederik - Harva meistä on rautaa as his entrance music. Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jarvinen tries to land a front kick but Barkas steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
Barkas swings for the body but Jarvinen moves out of range.
Jarvinen misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Barkas.
Jarvinen tries to clinch but Barkas moves out of range.
Barkas connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Jarvinen momentarily.

letting Barkas counter with a right hand.
Jarvinen lands with a nice body punch.
Jarvinen with a hook.
That kick from Jarvinen tenderised Barkas's leg. Barkas is trying to keep his angry face on.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Barkas tries to bum rush Jarvinen with a series of wild strikes but Jarvinen uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Yrjo Jarvinen seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Jarvinen attempts a leg kick but it's missed by a good margin.
A lazy left from Jarvinen finds it's target.

It looks like Hannibal Barkas has been cut.
Barkas takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Jarvinen moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.
Jarvinen scores with a nice head shot.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Jarvinen.

Jarvinen rushes Barkas and presses him up against the cage.
Jarvinen tries to work over Barkas's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target.
Barkas tries for a takedown but Jarvinen manages to get underhooks.
Barkas misses with a body punch.
Jarvinen blocks an elbow strike.

Jarvinen jumps guard.

Jarvinen looking for a triangle here. Barkas is fighting it but it looks tight! Jarvinen pulls the arm across and this one won't last much longer! Nope, Barkas is tapping out - this one is all over!
