The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A big right from Matsumoto misses.
Jun walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Matsumoto checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.

Matsumoto throws a body punch but Jun moves out of range.

Matsumoto has dropped down and is working for a takedown. Jun is trying to keep an underhook but Matsumoto manages to get the takedown into half guard.

Matsumoto is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Jun sees it coming and defends easily.
Matsumoto is just content to waste time from the top position. Jun takes advantage of the situation and regains full guard.

Jun is squirming around, avoiding Matsumoto's attempts to control the action.

Jun wants to hold on but Matsumoto pushes him away.
Matsumoto postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Jun looks a forlorn figure.
Matsumoto can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Jun is looking to escape.

Jun takes a big shot to the dome and his eyes have rolled back in his head! Matsumoto's killer instinct has kicked in as he finishes the fight with more strikes. Impressive finish.
