Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Nickolai Zhukov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and ZyD XyD Ii (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Zhukov comes to the cage accompanied by Hands of a Killer. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
15 - 4 - 0, fighting out of New York, Nickolai Zhukov!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
8 - 3 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, ZyD XyD Ii!
The judges for this bout are Don Winkell, and Frank Antenori.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
XyD Ii tries a head kick but it misses.
XyD Ii uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Zhukov.
XyD Ii swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Zhukov scoring well with a low kick there.
Zhukov throws a body kick that misses.
XyD Ii misses with a wild body shot.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Zhukov, as that shot connected.
Some bone on bone action there as Zhukov checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.
Zhukov gets a double leg takedown into XyD Ii's guard.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.
Zhukov wants to pass the guard but XyD Ii is keeping the position.
Zhukov is working hard here to advance position.
Zhukov advances to half guard.
That's one minute gone in the round.
XyD Ii is looking to control Zhukov's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can XyD Ii avoid being mounted?
XyD Ii is refusing to be controlled, as Zhukov sits in half guard.
Zhukov is looking to pass XyD Ii's guard but actually XyD Ii recovers to full guard.
Zhukov is looking to advance position but XyD Ii has hit a scissor sweep - now he's on top in mount!
XyD Ii controlling from the full mount.

Zhukov doing his best to control the position. Can he escape?

XyD Ii tries to control but Zhukov wriggling away.
The ref stands the fighters back up. ZyD XyD Ii was stalling too much, according to the referee.
XyD Ii misses with a head kick.
That's four minutes gone in the round.
My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.
Zhukov lands a body shot.
Nickolai Zhukov seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Zhukov throws a shot to the body.
Zhukov plants his feet and lands a nice head kick!
It looks like ZyD XyD Ii has been cut.
XyD Ii throws a half hearted mid kick.
Zhukov lands a big right hand that sends XyD Ii crashing to the mat! Zhukov stays standing though and waves XyD Ii back to his feet!
XyD Ii is rocked!
Zhukov throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around XyD Ii's waist but XyD Ii gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Zhukov off to one side.
Jab by Zhukov.
XyD Ii is still on wobbly legs! Can Zhukov finish him?
Zhukov scores with a jab to the body.
XyD Ii seems to have recovered his senses.
XyD Ii looks gassed!
XyD Ii throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Zhukov fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
Zhukov cracks XyD Ii with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Zhukov has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning XyD Ii to stand back up!
Zhukov throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent XyD Ii stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Zhukov cracks XyD Ii with a big right hand that sees him stumbling back against the cage! XyD Ii falls to his knees and Zhukov doesn't need a second invitatation - he rushes in and fires off several unanswered shots that force the referee to stop the fight! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:52 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Nickolai Zhukov!
