Gildas has a slight injury, which hopefully won't affect the fight too much. Both fighters really staring each other down here, as Jaxon Halo enters the cage!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Halo comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Gildas is breathing heavily.
Halo changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
Halo pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Gildas back to the cage. Halo follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver.

It looks like Rija Gildas has been cut.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Halo cracks Gildas with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Halo has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Gildas to stand back up!

Gildas is rocked!
Halo cracks Gildas's jaw with two stiff jabs then ducks low and throws a soul-severing right uppercut to the mouth!! Gildas slumps to the ground with blood on his lips. The referee steps in before Halo can do further damage! This one is done, son!
