Putkimies comes to the cage accompanied by Tik Tak - Heilutaan. Both fighters really staring each other down here, as The Demon Knight enters the cage!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Knight looks to land a body kick but Putkimies moved away.
Putkimies misses with an uppercut. Knight saw that one coming.
Knight throws a quick inside leg kick.
Putkimies takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Knight throws a sloppy head kick and Putkimies moves out of range easily.
Voitto Putkimies seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Putkimies wants to clinch up but Knight keeps it at a distance.
Putkimies swings widly with a right hand
and Knight counters with a good low kick that Putkimies was not able to check.
Putkimies stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Knight.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Knight looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it.
Putkimies misses with a body shot.

It looks like Voitto Putkimies has been cut.
Putkimies scores with the left hand. Knight knows he should have avoided that one.
Knight throws a nice outside leg kick.
Putkimies punishes Knight's body with a nice straight punch.
Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Knight.
Putkimies is breathing heavily.
Putkimies throws a leg kick that is checked
and Knight finishes the little exchange by landing a big kick to the body.
Putkimies is looking to clinch but Knight is avoiding it.
Knight connects with a body shot that sends Putkimies's belly button to the back.

Knight tries a head kick but it misses.
Knight changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
Putkimies drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.
A nice inside leg kick there by Knight. That's going to slow Putkimies down.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
That kick from Knight tenderised Putkimies's leg. Putkimies is trying to keep his angry face on.

Knight throws a feint and then finishes with a kick to the body.
Knight fakes a jab and scores with a low kick.
Good leg kick by Knight there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
A slapping body kick lands there for Knight.
Knight lands a big head kick that sends Putkimies tumbling to the mat! Knight takes a step backwards and waves Putkimies back to his feet - he wants the finish!
Putkimies is rocked!
Knight throws a nasty head kick that just misses. He throws another kick to the head of his opponent and almost takes it off! Putkimies crumples to the floor and the fight is over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:56 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Head Kick). The Demon Knight!
