Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ed Reed (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Joey Karate (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Karate has chosen Keith Murray - Slap Somebody as his entrance music. This should be fireworks!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Ed Reed!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Joey Karate!
The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, Jack Bonds and Don Winkell.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Karate throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Reed throws a hook but Karate avoids it easily.
A slow jab from Karate misses its intended target.
Karate takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.
Reed misses with a hook. Karate ducked under it nicely.
Reed walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
A jab from Reed misses.
Karate displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Reed throws out the jab.
Nice uppercut lands for Karate. That snapped Reed's head back.
Karate misses with a body shot.
Karate is looking to clinch but Reed is avoiding it.
Karate throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Reed.
Karate ducks under a wild hook from Reed.

Reed instigates a clinch.
Karate misses with a shot to the kidneys.
The referee calls for Karate to work.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Reed throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Karate on the side of the head.

Reed throws a leg kick but Karate checks it.
Karate throws a hook to the side of Reed's head but Reed sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Karate gets cracked there but stands up to it.
A telegraphed right hand from Reed misses the target.
Reed is really head hunting here, hardly looking to strike to the body at all.
Karate blocks the body kick.
Karate rushes in with a sloppy looking punch

and Reed counters into the clinch. Nicely done.
Reed lands with a right to the head.
Reed tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage.
The fighters are pressed against the cage, as the pace of the fight slows.

Reed goes for a body shot but it's blocked.
Reed tries to stall but Karate uses the opportunity to gain a better position.
Karate tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Reed's elbow.
Reed tries to throw a body punch but Karate avoids it by throwing Reed back against the cage.

Karate tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Reed was well out of range. Poor timing from Karate.

Reed tries to stall but Karate uses the opportunity to gain a better position.

Reed lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage.

Karate keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Reed's efforts to push away.
Reed stays in close to his opponent and throws a right hand to the body.
Karate displaying some good clinch control by pressing Reed up against the cage.
Karate tries to break free but Reed pushes him back against the cage.
Karate working some nice short punches in the clinch.
Karate lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards.

Reed is looking to control Karate's arms but Karate gets an underhook and turns him. Now Reed has his back to the cage.

Karate fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Reed, pushing him back against the cage.

Reed is working hard here but doesn't seem to be able to control effectively, up against the cage.
Karate lands with a right to the head.


Ed Reed's cut is bleeding quite badly. He's got to try and protect it.

Karate escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

Karate takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.

Karate throws a jab when Reed was well out of range.

Karate uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Reed.
Karate defending well as Reed loads up on a big left hand.

Karate's corner calls for a 1, 2 combination and Karate duly obliges.
Karate scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.
Karate uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Reed.
Karate wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.

and Reed counters with a straight right hand.

and Reed counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.

Reed moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.

Joey Karate took to the mic in his post fight interview and said 'I am the real fuckin deal! I am a fuckin black belt!!! You fuckin cocksuckaz...'.
