The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Williams walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.

Williams closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.

Ferreira drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Williams manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Ferreira has Williams in his guard.
Ferreira wants to get back to his feet but Williams is in a dominant position and won't allow it.

Williams drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Ferreira dives on top into guard.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Ferreira throws a hook to the side of Williams's head but Williams sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Ferreira throws a jab when Williams was well out of range.
Both fighters circle each other, looking for something big. Ferreira moves in and throws an overhand right. That hurt Williams! Ferreira continues to tee off on Williams, landing with a left and a right! Ferreira connects with a right hand that leaves Williams sleeping against the cage! What a finish by Ferreira!
