The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Assange closes this distance looking for a takedown but Gauge circles away.
Assange gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
letting Gauge counter with a right hand.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Assange is defended easily by Gauge.
Gregory Gauge has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Julian Assange.
A decent looking cross lands there for Gauge.
Gauge cracks Assange with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.
Gauge with a jab.

It looks like Julian Assange has been cut.
Assange shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Gauge sprawls well. Gauge wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Assange gets slowly back to his feet.
Gauge lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Assange backs up against the cage.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
A left lands for Gauge.
Assange has his takedown stuffed
and Gauge counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Assange looks gassed!
Assange gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Gauge counters with a lovely straight right hand!

That's one minute gone in the round.
Gauge throws a push kick but Assange slaps the foot to one side.
Assange doesn't succeed with the takedown
letting Gauge counter with a right hand.

Assange is rocked!
Assange is aggressively charging in as Gauge backs up avoiding any damage. Gauge tosses out a jab and Assange runs right into it face first! Assange is out cold! Gauge dropped down on all fours and is barking in Assange's face like a pit bull in celebration until the ref was finally able to pull him away!
