Hamalainen kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is the Finnish National Anthem. Morris is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Let The Bodies Hit The Floor. Jack Morris has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hamalainen throws a lazy right hand but Morris sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Morris misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Jack Morris seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Sloppy strikes from Morris. Those never looked like landing.
Hamalainen goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.
Morris throws a head kick that half lands.
Morris connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.

Hamalainen takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
Morris throws a series of punches but Hamalainen moves out of range.
Morris just misses with a punch to the body.
Morris connects with a leg kick. Hamalainen looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it.
A head kick from Morris lands but Hamalainen takes it in his stride.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Morris feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Hamalainen's calf.
Hamalainen moves away from the strike by Morris.

Morris stuns Hamalainen with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
Morris tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Hamalainen closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.

Morris stuns Hamalainen with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.

Morris bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Morris creates a bit of distance and throws down some hard shots.
Hamalainen parries the strikes from Morris easily there. Morris is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable Hamalainen to escape.
Hamalainen gets back to half guard.

Hamalainen had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Morris defends it easily.
Hamalainen trying to keep a closed guard but Morris is proving a slippery customer.

Morris drops back for a leg here. A bit of a high risk move... He's looking for a kneebar by the looks of things. Now both of them are looking for submissions. Morris seems to have locked his on tight now - Hamalainen screams in pain and taps out furiously! It certainly was a high risk move but it's paid off for Morris, as he picks up the win!
