The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bookem blocks a head kick by Trampling.
Bookem keeps the fight on the outside.
Trampling tries a low kick but Bookem avoids it.
Bookem scores with a crisp jab that stopped Trampling in his tracks.
Trampling throws a leg kick but he was too far away and it doesn't land.
Matt Trampling seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Bookem avoids a punch combination nicely.
Trampling throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Bookem throws a looping overhand right but Trampling ducks down to avoid it.
Bookem avoids the clinch attempt nicely.

Bookem throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Trampling's waist but Trampling gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Bookem off to one side.

Bookem cracks Trampling with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.

Nice uppercut lands for Bookem. That snapped Trampling's head back.

Bookem closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Trampling's guard.

Trampling controls Bookem momentarily but Bookem frees himself.
Trampling has control of Bookem's left arm, preventing Bookem from doing any damage.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Bookem accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Bookem wants to control from the top but Trampling keeps moving.

Bookem drops back looking for a leg! Trampling is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Trampling manages to kick Bookem off! Bookem jumps back into Trampling's guard.

Trampling can't keep his opponent in guard - Bookem advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.
Trampling trying to control here but he's found himself mounted! Oh no!
Trampling is looking to get back to his feet - it's going to be hard from this position.

Bookem cracks Trampling with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.
