Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Markku Mannersormi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Al Swearengen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Swearengen has a niggling injury. He would have liked to come in 100% fit but that's not always possible. Al Swearengen will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

The judges for this bout are Robert Twigg, George Francis and Daniel Franklin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mannersormi throws a body punch but Swearengen moves out of range.
Mannersormi fails with a takedown attempt.
Mannersormi looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Swearengen is fending him off so far but Mannersormi persists. Nope, Swearengen circles away and we're back to standing.
Swearengen gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.
Mannersormi is looking to work some ground and pound but Swearengen has wrist control.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Swearengen can do anything to dispel that myth.

Mannersormi has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Swearengen wants to control but Mannersormi is having none of it.
