Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Daniel McCraig (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sean Rellik (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Daniel McCraig!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of New York, Sean Rellik!
The judges for this bout are Joseph Jones, Jonathan Paton and Reed Andrews.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rellik tries to clinch up but McCraig circles away and keeps his distance.
Rellik avoids a kick to the body.
McCraig throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
McCraig connects with a high kick.
Rellik checks a leg kick nicely.
A low kick from McCraig misses
and Rellik counters with a two punch combo.

Rellik moves into range and clinches up with McCraig.
McCraig wants to stall.
Rellik is trying to work for a single leg takedown but McCraig pulls him back up using the underhooks.

Rellik pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Daniel McCraig seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
McCraig misses with a head kick.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Rellik will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
McCraig throws a sloppy head kick and Rellik moves out of range easily.

The fight stays on the outside here - Rellik looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Daniel McCraig is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

and Rellik counters with a shoot takedown. McCraig fights it but they end up in guard.
Rellik slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.
Rellik wants to control from the top but McCraig keeps moving.
McCraig preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage.

Rellik lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard.

McCraig had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Rellik defends it easily.
Rellik trying to control the position from guard on top but McCraig is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Rellik throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as McCraig works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
Rellik must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Rellik working from the guard for now, landing some ground and pound.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
McCraig is trying to control the position but Rellik postures up.
Rellik stays in close to McCraig's body and controls the position.
McCraig is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Rellik with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal.

The ref stands the fighters back up because Daniel McCraig just wasn't active enough.
Rellik throws a combination. McCraig tries to block but a couple of punches get through.
McCraig connects with an inside leg kick.
McCraig throws a sloppy head kick and Rellik moves out of range easily.
McCraig misses with a body kick.
McCraig plants his feet and lands a nice head kick!
McCraig throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

McCraig explodes with a nice body kick and back out of range. Nice work.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Rellik shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.
Rellik is stalling in the full guard.
Rellik postures up in McCraig's guard and throws a big left but McCraig blocks it.
Rellik throws a big right hand that misses.
Rellik controlling from the top position.
McCraig keeping moving, preventing Rellik from controlling successfully.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Rellik is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Sean Rellik dominated that round.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

McCraig throws a leg kick but he was too far away and it doesn't land.
McCraig pulls out of a head kick attempt.
McCraig scores with a push kick.
Rellik throws out a leg kick but McCraig moves out of range and Rellik only half commits.
Rellik throws a combination but it was largely blocked by McCraig.
McCraig tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
McCraig misses with a head kick.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Rellik waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract McCraig.
Daniel McCraig is winning the standup battle so far.
McCraig misses with a body kick.
McCraig throws a head kick but Rellik moves out of range.
Rellik misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.

Rellik throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. McCraig was covering up waiting for the punch and Rellik finishes the takedown easily into guard.
Rellik wants to control from the top but McCraig keeps moving.
Rellik lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard.
McCraig keeping full guard, as Rellik tries to pass.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Rellik postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
McCraig will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Rellik accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

McCraig pushes a forearm under Rellik's chin to create some space. He's escaped his hips and pivoted quickly for an armbar! Can he extend the arm? Yes, Rellik is tapping out! Damn, that was fast!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:31 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Armbar). Daniel McCraig!
