The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pump throws a sloppy head kick
and Paneda makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.

Pump stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Pump wants it to stay on the feet.
Pump throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Paneda lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.

It looks like Big Pump has been cut.
Paneda shoots in for a double leg but Pump sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.

Pump ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Paneda moves away.

Pump looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Paneda with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
Pump takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists.

Pump is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Paneda to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Paneda shrugs it off.
Paneda is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.

We are yet to see a takedown attempt from Pump in the fight. On paper you would think he is the more dominant ground fighter so let's see if these unusual tactics pay off.
