The judges for this bout are James Ackerman, Daniel Bishop and Sam Margolis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sloppy strikes from Young. Those never looked like landing.
Young misses with a double jab.
Silva changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Young tries to avoid it but Silva manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Young to the ground. Young escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
The fight stays on the outside here - Silva looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Silva stuffs the takedown.
Nice body kick there by Silva.
Young fails to land with a series of punches.
Silva looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Young is fending him off so far but Silva persists. Nope, Young circles away and we're back to standing.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Silva.
