These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Balboa goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.
Corleone avoids the head kick by Balboa.
Corleone scores with a body shot.
Balboa tries to score with a leg kick but it misses it's target.

Corleone lands a left and a right that send Balboa crashing to the mat, dazed. Corleone thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!

Balboa is rocked!

It looks like Rocky Balboa has been cut.
Balboa looks gassed!
This has been an exciting period of action!
Corleone moves out of range of the body kick from Balboa.
Balboa is still on wobbly legs! Can Corleone finish him?
Balboa takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Balboa seems to have recovered his senses.
Balboa glances at the clock... BAM! Corleone nails him with a big right hand! A momentary lapse in concentration sends Balboa crashing to the mat! The referee steps in and this one is over! Damn, Balboa is out of it, he thinks the ref is his opponent!
