Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 4 - 0, fighting out of New York, Masaya Erta Ale!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Chase Rollins!
The judges for this bout are Columbo Gatti, Russell Pearce and Chad Campbell.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
The fighters circling - Rollins throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Erta Ale tries a low kick but Rollins avoids it.
Erta Ale throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Erta Ale misses with a series of wild punches.
Erta Ale misses with a wild body shot.
Rollins will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.
A looping hook to the body misses from Erta Ale. Rollins does a little dance to reset his feet.
Rollins throws a mid kick that lands with a slap.
Rollins blocks a head kick by Erta Ale.
Erta Ale fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Rollins looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.

Erta Ale stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Rollins swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Rollins is pulling down on Erta Ale's head. It's preventing any offense from Erta Ale, at least for the moment.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Rollins looking to finish here with some ground and pound. He lands one big shot that has Erta Ale covering up... and two more big strikes land, forcing the referee to step in and put and end to proceedings! This fight is all over!
