Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Dave Tiongson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ilong Ranger (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

The judges for this bout are Steven Brown, Sam Margolis and Daniel Bishop.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tiongson fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Ranger misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Tiongson tries to grapple but his opponent circles

and Ranger moves into the clinch.

Tiongson breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Tiongson closes the distance and clinches up with Ranger, looking for a takedown. Tiongson pushes Ranger against the cage but Ranger circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
A nice leg kick lands there from Ranger.
Ranger has a takedown stuffed.
Ranger throws a push kick but Tiongson slaps the foot to one side.

Ranger gets in close and instigates a clinch.

Tiongson manages to break the clinch.
Ranger shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Tiongson but Tiongson pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Dave Tiongson has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Ilong Ranger.

Ranger fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Tiongson shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Ranger as he avoids it easily.
Ranger tries to clinch up but Tiongson circles away and keeps his distance.

Tiongson forces Ranger back against the cage and clinches.

Ranger breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Ranger wants to clinch up but Tiongson keeps it at a distance.
Ranger blocks a head kick by Tiongson.

Ranger rushes Tiongson and presses him up against the cage.
Ranger is trying to break the clinch but Tiongson has him pressed against the cage.
Ranger has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.
Ranger stalling against the cage.
Tiongson wants to break the clinch but can't.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Ranger jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Tiongson walks away with a smile on his face. Ranger gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
Ranger lands a jab to the nose.
Ranger closes the distance and clinches up with Tiongson, looking for a takedown. Ranger pushes Tiongson against the cage but Tiongson circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Tiongson shoots in looking for a takedown but Ranger manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Tiongson's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Ranger throws a body kick but he was well out of range there.
Ranger misses with a takedown attempt - Tiongson sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Tiongson throws a hard body shot but it just misses.

Tiongson pushes Ranger up against the cage in a clinch.
Tiongson jumps guard but Ranger turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing.
Ranger goes for a takedown in the clinch but Tiongson prevents it.
Tiongson tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Ranger managing to block the knees to the body from Tiongson.
Ranger is trying to drag Tiongson to the mat but Tiongson just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.
Ranger lands with a good tight uppercut to the head.
Tiongson is pressed up against the cage. Ranger has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Tiongson down to the mat. Tiongson avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
Tiongson goes for a high kick. It partially lands.

It looks like Ilong Ranger has been cut.

Oooooh!!! Tiongson has knocked Ranger down with a huge combo! Tiongson steps away and waves a wobbly Ranger back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!

Ranger is rocked!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Tiongson lands with a precision combination! Left, right, uppercut and Ranger falls flat on his face, eyes wide open but he's out!
