Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Grande Mucho (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Akbar Muhammed (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Akbar Muhammed will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Muhammed throws a sloppy head kick and Mucho moves out of range easily.
Muhammed looks to land a right hand but Mucho moved out of range.
A leg kick checked by Muhammed.
Mucho fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Muhammed manages to avoid it.
Muhammed moves away from the strike by Mucho.

Muhammed gets a double leg takedown into Mucho's guard.
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.

Mucho is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Muhammed defends well.

Mucho is looking for a triangle but Muhammed pushes his legs off easily.

Mucho escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Muhammed gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Mucho is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Muhammed is aware though and is defending well.

Mucho has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Muhammed is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Mucho.

Muhammed is looking to take a break and control but Mucho is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Mucho throws his legs up looking to secure a triangle. Oh, that looks pretty tight, I gotta say! Muhammed escapes and throws Mucho's legs to the side, diving into side control!

Mucho manages to get back to half guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Grande Mucho will probably get the nod.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!

Mucho lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears.

Mucho is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Muhammed has managed to free his arm - good work.
Muhammed has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Mucho is working away from the top position though.
