Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Deep Fryer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mathew Corson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Mathew Corson will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Corson feints and as Fryer raises his hands in defense, Corson changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.

Fryer takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.

We're going to have a standup here because Deep Fryer wasn't active enough for the referee's liking.

Fryer is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.
Fryer seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Corson for as long as he can get away with.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Fryer stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Corson swivels though and keeps the full guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Fryer's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.

Fryer fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Corson sprawls well initially but Fryer persists and gets the takedown into half guard.

The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! And we move into the final round!

Corson shoots in but no luck this time.

Corson is working for a submission here. He's got hold of the far side arm and he's looking for a kimura. He's cranking on the arm and he's got it! Fryer is tapping out! Ouch, that looked like it hurt!
