The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Jonson has managed to clinch.
Jonson lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards.
Juutilainen drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Juutilainen drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Jonson gets the underhooks and prevents it.
Juutilainen is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Jonson pulls him back up using the underhooks.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Niko Juutilainen. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Juutilainen lands a nice trip takedown into half guard.
Jonson is trying to control but can't.

Juutilainen is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.

Juutilainen is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Jonson defends it well.

Jonson wants to get back to his feet but Juutilainen is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
Juutilainen is looking to advance position but Jonson has hit a scissor sweep - now he's on top in mount!
Jonson avoids the attempt from Juutilainen to control.
Juutilainen is trying to reverse the position but instead Jonson has taken his back - oops!
Juutilainen manages to reverse the position and now he's in Jonson's guard. Nice work there by Juutilainen.

Juutilainen drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Jonson dives on top into guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
