Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Max Alvarado (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Akbar Muhammed (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Muhammed takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Alvarado swings away with a leg kick that misses.
Muhammed misses with an uppercut. Alvarado saw that one coming.
Alvarado throws a hook to the side of Muhammed's head but Muhammed sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Muhammed is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Muhammed on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere.
Alvarado looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Muhammed throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Alvarado sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Alvarado, as that shot connected.
Alvarado is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Muhammed.
Good work by Muhammed as he checks the leg kick.

Horrible takedown by Muhammed or perhaps it was just good defense by Alvarado which made him look bad.

Max Alvarado seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Muhammed's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Alvarado connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Muhammed scrambles back to his feet.

and Alvarado counters with a crisp one two that drops Muhammed! Alvarado thinks about following him to the mat for a moment but instead steps back and waves Muhammed to his feet! Muhammed is in big trouble!
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Muhammed tries to clinch but Alvarado is having none of it.

Alvarado pounces like a tiger and cracks Muhammed with a vicious hook! Muhammed is down but not out! Alvarado follows up with more strikes forcing the ref to jump in and stop it!
