Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Donald Dallas (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and John Bradley (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Donald Dallas!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, John Bradley!
The judges for this bout are Columbo Gatti, David Schapiro and John Kavanagh.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Dallas looking for a takedown here - he's got it.
Bradley is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
Bradley looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
Bradley not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.

Bradley working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Dallas doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Dallas manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fight is doing enough on the ground.
Dallas circles away from the clinch attempt.
Bradley fails with an attempt to clinch.

Bradley misses with a jab, cross combination.
Bradley wants to clinch.
Some bone on bone action there as Dallas checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.
Dallas misses with a few strikes there.
Bradley closes the distance and lands a one-two.
Dallas swats away the attempt to clinch by Bradley.
Dallas avoids a kick to the body.
Dallas shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Bradley as he avoids it easily.

Bradley drives through and clinches with Dallas against the cage.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Dallas wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Bradley has him pressed against the cage.

Bradley controls Dallas momentarily but Dallas frees himself.

Dallas thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
Dallas advances to half guard.

Dallas is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Bradley is just riding it out for now. Dallas eventually gives up the hold.
Dallas is breathing heavily.
Bradley is looking to control Dallas's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Bradley avoid being mounted?

Dallas is working for a kimura but Bradley is defending it quite comfortably.

Dallas is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.
The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
Bradley is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Dallas's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Dallas's back!

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Bradley is landing with strikes from the back.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Bradley gets his hooks in and is throwing strikes.
Bradley wants to control but Dallas is keeping busy.
So, who will make the next big move? In this position it could be crucial.

Dallas tries to roll but Bradley sticks to his back.

John Bradley dominated that round.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.

Bradley pushes Dallas back against the cage and unloads with a body punch.

Bradley is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Dallas can't fight it off and eventually Bradley manages to take the fight to the floor. Dallas looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Bradley wants to control from the top but Dallas keeps moving.
Bradley slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.
Dallas sneaks a leg under to get back to half guard.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Dallas looking for submissions from an awkward position here.
Bradley is nestled in close to Dallas, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.
Dallas keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound.

Bradley works his foot free and advances to mount.
Bradley can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Dallas is looking to escape.
Dallas is trying desperately to improve position.

Bradley trying to control but Dallas is having none of it.
Bradley landing strikes, looking to finish!
Bradley really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Dallas. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Dallas tries to reverse the position but Bradley maintains control.
Bradley connects with a couple of good shots from mount.
Bradley controlling from the full mount.
Dallas is bucking up trying to escape but Bradley cracks him with another couple of good strikes.
Bradley wants to control the pace but Dallas is squirming around nicely.
Dallas can't escape the position.
Bradley cracks Dallas with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.

Let's hope that Bradley has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.

Despite being in the dominant position, John Bradley just isn't active enough and the referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

Bradley gets in close and instigates a clinch.

Dallas tries to free his leg and advance position but Bradley is retaining full guard.
Bradley is trying to keep Dallas in close.
Bradley lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Dallas!

Dallas can't escape the position.
Bradley controlling from mount.
Dallas regains half guard.
Dallas tries to get to full guard but Bradley has control of the leg.
Dallas is refusing to be controlled, as Bradley sits in half guard.
Bradley wants to pass the guard but Dallas is defending well.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

John Bradley showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. And we move into the final round!


Dallas tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Bradley swivels and escapes.
Bradley does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.
Dallas shoots in looking for a takedown. Bradley tries to sprawl out of it but Dallas keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Bradley manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Bradley throws a head kick that misses.

Bradley forces Dallas back against the cage and clinches.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Bradley manages to pull guard.

Bradley is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.
Bradley bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Dallas's guard.

Dallas has a butterfly guard looking to sweep but Bradley has passed into side control.
Bradley trying to control the action but Dallas is working from the bottom.
Dallas sneaks back into half guard.
Bradley content to sit in half guard and control for a moment.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Bradley trying to pass the guard but Dallas defending well.
Dallas tries to roll over but Bradley keeps him under control.
Bradley not doing much here.
Dallas wants to improve his position but Bradley is controlling well.
Dallas is working hard here to advance position.

Bradley slows the pace down in half guard.
Dallas is looking to get back to full guard here but Bradley has managed to pass to side control instead.
Bradley prevents Dallas from getting the reversal.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Bradley controlling the pace for now.
Dallas is looking to get to half guard.
Bradley looking to control but Dallas is working nicely, looking to advance position himself.
Bradley controlling from the full mount.
Bradley wants to control the pace but Dallas is squirming around nicely.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!

John Bradley comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Bradley has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
