The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
No luck for King with that takedown attempt.
Prime scores with a nice head shot.
King tries for a takedown but Prime sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Prime misses with a hook.
King takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
Prime misses with a wild body shot.
Prime uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before King has time to react.
The fighters circling - Prime throws out the jab but it was never going to land.

King moves into the clinch successfully.
King struggles to land a body shot inside as Prime controls his hands.
Prime wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but King has him pressed against the cage.
Prime tries to break free but King pushes him back against the cage.
King goes for a body shot but it's blocked.
Prime is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage.

Prime blocks a punch to the side of the head.

King misses with a punch to the body.
King tries to throw a body punch but Prime avoids it by throwing King back against the cage.

King works for the underhooks and manages to get a trip takedown into guard.

King drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and King jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

King drops back looking for a leg! Prime is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Prime manages to kick King off! King jumps back into Prime's guard.
Prime wants to stand up but King is controlling him.
King postures up in Prime's guard and throws a big left but Prime blocks it.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

King pushes down on Prime's leg and manages to get into half guard.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
