The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Takamura has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Nunes.

Takamura shoots in for a takedown and gets it.
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.
Nunes is looking to improve his position.
Nunes has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Takamura is working away from the top position though.
Nunes gets back to full guard.
Takamura is in close to Nunes's body, working some short punches and elbows.
Nunes looking to hit a scissor sweep but Takamura is one step ahead there.
Nunes is trying to control the position but Takamura postures up.

Takamura throwing strikes from guard but Nunes blocks nicely.
Nunes keeping moving, preventing Takamura from controlling successfully.

Nunes is looking to sinch up a triangle. Takamura throws the leg off to one side though and gets in tight to Nunes's body to avoid the submission. Nunes has instead reached around Takamura's neck and now has a guillotine! Oh, this is biiiig trouble! Nunes arches his back and squeezes and forces the tap from his hapless opponent.

Post fight, Evangelista Nunes stared into the camera and said 'Jake Shields, I will kill you!!'.
