Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Harper Pool (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Evangelista Nunes (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 4 - 0, fighting out of New York, Harper Pool!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 3 - 0, fighting out of New York, Evangelista Nunes!
The judges for this bout are Chad Campbell, Anthony Taglia and John Kavanagh.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A clash of legs there as Nunes blocks the low kick.
Sloppy strikes from Pool. Those never looked like landing.
Pool throws a solid leg kick but Nunes takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Pool.
Pool misses with a low kick.
Pool throws a low kick but Nunes avoids it.
Harper Pool seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Nunes fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Pool takes a kick to the body and keeps moving.

Nunes connects with a nice looking jab.
Nunes fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Pool.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.

Nunes throws a body kick that digs right into the meat.
Pool attempts a leg kick but it's missed by a good margin.

Pool tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Nunes paws at him with a jab and circles away.

Nunes dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Pool. That did some damage!
Evangelista Nunes seems to be getting the better of the standup.

Harper Pool is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Pool ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Nunes moves away.
Nunes wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.

Good leg kick by Nunes there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.

A nice inside leg kick there by Nunes. That's going to slow Pool down.
Pool throws a leg kick but Nunes sees it coming and moves out of range.
Nunes throws a wild body kick that Pool sees coming a mile off.
Pool is hobbling a little on that front leg after taking quite a few leg kicks so far in this fight.
Nunes tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Nunes throws a mid kick that lands with a slap.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Nunes shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down.
That kick from Nunes tenderised Pool's leg. Pool is trying to keep his angry face on.

Nunes feints and then cracks Pool's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Pool down.

Nunes receives a warning from the referee for stalling.
The referee is keeping an eye on Pool - much more stalling and he will separate the fighters.

Pool seems to have come into the fight with the intention of avoiding any damage in the clinch, rather than actually showing any aggression.

Evangelista Nunes showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!

Pool tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Nunes manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.

Nunes throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Pool.

The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Evangelista Nunes comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I've got Nunes winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
