Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Jake Redd (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Milo Phillips (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Redd comes to the cage accompanied by We Will Rock You. Buckle up people - heeeeeeeeeere we go!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 23 - 14 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Jake Redd!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 28 - 12 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Milo Phillips!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Blasius, Wagner Zegers and Patrick Alders.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Redd drives through with a takedown into guard.
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.
Phillips avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.

Phillips is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Redd is aware though and is defending well.

Phillips looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.

Phillips had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Redd defends it easily.
Redd wants to control from the top but Phillips keeps moving.
Redd stands and throws Phillips's legs to the side, diving into side control.
Phillips tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Redd wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Phillips is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Redd off and has taken his back!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Redd tries to escape the position - he's now mounted. Is that better or worse? Hard to tell!

Phillips is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Redd sees it coming and defends easily.

Phillips is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Phillips is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Redd doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Phillips.
Redd is pressing down on Phillips's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Phillips trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.

Redd has his foot on Phillips's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Phillips works his way back into a safe position though.

Redd working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Phillips doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Phillips manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
This has been an exciting period of action!

Phillips is working for a kimura here but Redd manages to reverse the position and he's now in Phillips's guard.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Redd accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Phillips is trying to control the position but Redd postures up.

Phillips throws his legs up looking to secure a triangle. Oh, that looks pretty tight, I gotta say! Redd escapes and throws Phillips's legs to the side, diving into side control!
Phillips tries to slip a leg under to move to half guard but Redd presses down on the leg and jumps into full mount!
Redd has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Phillips's face.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Phillips is wriggling around trying to escape.
Redd sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment.
Phillips is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Phillips tries to hold on but Redd pushes him away.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Jake Redd dominated that round.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.

Oooooh, big shot lands for Redd! Phillips is hurt baaadly! Redd is firing away with more strikes - Phillips is covering up... the ref is warning him to do something. He's just covering up though still and the ref has to step in to end the fight! This one is all over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:55 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Jake Redd!
A less than humble Jake Redd misjudged his post fight interview somewhat and came across a little too arrogant whilst trying to hype up his own abilities.
